Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the electrolytic corrosion between different kinds of metal parts forming a cylinder lock.
CONSTITUTION: Corner parts of a tumbler 14, where a surface and a surface of the tumbler 14 cross each other, are coated or not coated with the relatively thin coating 22 made of electrical insulating resin, and the main surface of the tumbler 14 is coated with the coating 22, which is made of the electrical insulating resin and which is thicker than the projecting length of burrs 20, 21 formed at the corner parts of the tumbler 14. Corner parts of a case 11, where a surface and a surface of the case 11 cross each other, are coated or not coated with the relatively thin coating 22 made of electrical insulating resin, and the inner surface of a housing hole of the case 11, in which a key cylinder 12 is arranged freely to be rotated, is coated with the coating 22, which is made of electrical insulating resin and which is thicker than the projecting length of the burr formed in the case 1.
