Abstract:
PURPOSE: To completely expel air in folded film layers to the outside, and at the same time, prevent folding wrinkles on the film from generating for a folding device which multiply folds a cylindrical plastic film by a specified length while keeping the cylindrical shape.
CONSTITUTION: On a working table board A, three or more movable shafts 11a...11n, which are movable in the horizontal direction, are erected, and a film is folded by vertically moving folding frame body 31 on the upper side and a folding frame body 21 on the lower side, at the outside of these movable shafts. For each folding process, respective shafts are mutually approached and separated, and at the time of separation, the film is stretched by respective shafts to expel air in the film layers to the outside of the layers, and at the same time, to smooth wrinkles on the film. At the outside of an area 12, which is surrounded by respective shafts, push-in plates 41 are provided, and the push-in plates are advanced when the shafts mutually approach to push in the film to the central side of the area 12, and the film is stretched again, for the constitution.
