Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make it possible to easily adjust the gap between a platen and a daisy wheel, by providing an engaging part and a movable engaging body to a carrier and a wheel holder and forming a deformed part to either one of the part continueing to the engaging part and the movable engaging body.

CONSTITUTION: An engaging hole 11 being an engaging part and a U-shape notch 12 being a deformed part are formed to both sides of the frame 10 coming to a part of a carrier 4. The hook part 13 engaging with the upper edge of the engaging hole 11 and a U-shape notch 14 being a deformed part are provided to a wheel holder 8. If the notch 12 or 14 is made permanently deformable so as to be widened or contracted, the engaging position of the engaging hole 11 and the hook part 13 changes to the direction contacting with and separating from a platen 1. Therefore, the gap G between a daisy wheel 6 and the platen 1 can be easily adjusted.
