Abstract:
To provide a damage control support pillar expected to further increase deformability and strength of the support pillar, and in particular, capable of preferably suppressing damage of a support pillar base at the time of excessive action.SOLUTION: A damage control support pillar is configured from a vertical steel tube 2, a base plate 3, an anchor bolt 7, and a damage control member 5 arranged above the base plate 3, the damage control member 5 has a vertical brace material 56, and brace material fixing means (lower outer flange 51, upper outer flange 52) for fixing the brace material 56 to the steel tube 2 above the damage control member, an upper end part of the brace material 56 is fixed to a lower side face of the lower outer flange 51, a lower end part of the brace material 56 is not in contact with the base plate 3, and a gap C1 is formed therebetween.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
