Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an electrostatic charging member well satisfying perfor mance as an electrostatic charging member and easy to regenerate.
CONSTITUTION: This electrostatic charging member has 1.0 to 8 (cal/cc)1/2 difference between the solubility coefft. of a crystalline resin forming the outermost layer of this member and that of a resin forming a layer brought into contact with the inside of the outermost layer. This member exhibits satisfactory performance at the time of use and it is easily regenerated because the outermost layer scratched by sliding can easily be peeled off.
