Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a damping metal plate having both high vibration damping ability and excellent after-workability.
CONSTITUTION: A viscoelastic composition containing a graft copolymer formed by graft-polymerizing a specified acrylate or methacrylate with a rubber polymer having an unsaturated bonding in the moledule, an acrylic metal salt or methacrylic metal salt, a thickener, and a hardening catalyst in specified mixing ratios is interposed between two metal plates as an intermediate layer followed by hardening, and the two metal plates and the viscoelastic composition are mutually integrated to form a damping metal plate.
