Abstract:
To suppress addition amounts of a medicine for lowering surface tension of damping water and a medicine for pH adjustment, and to easily adjust the pH value of the damping water.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a damping water supply system that supplies damping water to be used for offset printing to an offset printer, and that comprises: a water tank; a water supply device which supplies water in the water tank to the offset printer; a collection device which collects part of the water supplied to the offset printer into the water tank; a water circulation passage which has both end parts connected to the water tank; a circulation pump which circulates the water in the water tank in the water circulation passage; a magnetic unit which is provided at each of halfway parts of the water circulation passage, and generates a magnetic field perpendicular to the circulating direction of the water in the water circulated in the water circulation passage; an ultraviolet-ray irradiation part which irradiates the water circulated in the water circulation passage with ultraviolet rays; and a filter device which removes impurities from the water circulated in the water circulation passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
