Abstract:
To provide a data communication system connected to a communication channel together with an external communication equipment such as a personal computer or the like and not operating during communicating of the external communication equipment.
Even if a CNG signal or a DTMF signal is input to data communication equipment 11, when external communication equipment 7 is in an off- hook state at this time and is in the midst of communication, the equipment 11 is disconnected by an NCU 6. Thus, the equipment 11 is not operated in response to the CNG signal input to or output from the equipment 7 and a DTMF signal from a telephone set 8, and a malfunction of the equipment 11 can be prevented.
