Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time for restoration from a channel fault caused suddenly such as a phase hit by providing a reception control means to set a calculation coefficient of a synchronization correction means based on an error signal detected by a discrimination device.
SOLUTION: A discrimination device 30 discriminates at which signal point in a prescribed signal space a received signal RRb resides, detects a signal error between a signal at the signal point and the received signal RRb and a receiving point signal RRc representing the discriminated signal point is fed to a decoding section 32 and a detected signal error ED is fed to an error arithmetic section 31 and a reception control section 34. The reception control section 34 sets values of correction coefficients SC1, SC2 outputted to a synchronization correction section 29 based on an error ED. That is, the reception control section 34 sets a value β1 to the correction coefficient SC2 when the signal error ED is smaller than a reference value a and the reception control section 34 sets a value β2 that is larger than the value β1 to the correction coefficient SC2 when the signal error ED is larger than the reference value α.
