Abstract:
To efficiently distribute data to a communication terminal while suppressing an increase in traffic.SOLUTION: A data distribution system according to an embodiment includes: a management device configured to manage data to be distributed to a communication terminal; a plurality of aggregation routers configured to communicate with the management device; and a plurality of communication terminals configured to perform wireless multi-hop communication by broadcasting or multicasting under the control of one of the plurality of aggregation routers. The aggregation router divides data received from the management device into a plurality of blocks, distributes the plurality of blocks to the communication terminal which is under the control thereof, and notifies the communication terminal of a request transmission interval which is a predetermined time width used in order to determine a timing of transmitting a defective block request. The communication terminal acquires and stores a block received by wireless multi-hop communication, and when there is a defective block after the completion time of transmission of the data, transmits the defective block request to the aggregation router at the timing determined on the basis of the request transmission interval.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
