Abstract:
To provide a superconducting electromagnet that reduces a risk of quenching in cooling in a thermal conduction manner.SOLUTION: A superconducting electromagnet comprises: a permanent current switch 25 which can form a closed circuit with a main coil generating an induction magnetic field 16 to switch between a normal conductive state and a superconductive state; a first leader line 11 and a second leader line 12 which are led out from a non-induction winding coil 26 of the permanent current switch 25 and connected to respective end wires 17, 18 on both sides of the main coil; a heat conductive member 45 which supports the main coil and transfers cold heat that a low temperature refrigerating machine generates to the main coil; a support member 20 which has one end connected to the heat conductive member 45 and supports the permanent current switch 25 at the other end; and a separation structure which separates a first region 21 where the first leader line 11 comes into electric contact with the support member 20 and a second region 22 where the second leader line 12 comes into electric contact along a length direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
