Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer control unit which is capable of improving a bus in effective transfer rate and an electronic apparatus.
SOLUTION: When information such as CSW and data is allocated so as to be transferred through an end point EP2, a buffer in which an EP2 region 14 (FIFO data storage area) and a CSW region 16 (randomly accessable status storage area) are prepared is provided. When a USB is switched from a data phase (data transport) to a status phase (status transport), an information reading region is switched from the EP2 region 14 to the CSW region 16, and IN data transferred from the end point EP2 to a host are read out from the CSW region 16. A CSW0 region for a success status and a CSW1 region for an unsuccess status are provided, and a status block packet in which default information for success or unsuccess is set is previously written in the regions.
