PURPOSE: To reduce malfunction and to surely perform the intended reservation of video recording by preparing the reservation information by transforming the information into a 24 hours system by means of a transforming means for the 24 hours system when the information exceeds 24 hours.
CONSTITUTION: When the reservation of video recording such as a TV signal is executed, the program information of the reservation of video recording is inputted by means of an input part 1. Time information is taken out by means of a retrieval means 2 for time information for retrieving a date, the starting and ending times of video recording based on the program information and wether the information exceeds 24 hours or not is checked by means of a checking means 3. When the information exceeds 24 hours, the information is transformed into the information of the 24 hours system by means of a transforming means 4. The information is recorded in a recording part 5.
