Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a training time without greatly increasing the circuit size in the decision feedback type equalizer which uses a RAM.
SOLUTION: During a training, a data memory 53 shown in (A) updates table retrieval data rA, which are to be updated, as well as data rB, which are specified by addresses camp (adrs) that have a double pair relationship with the addresses adrs of the data rA, using data updating difference computing circuits 54 and 55. After the data rA and rB are converged, a switching is conducted so that the updated results of the data rB are not reinserted into a data memory by a control signal c3 and the training operations continue.
