Title:
焼却灰溶融炉における溶融塩の分解方法
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3582117
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To collect metal compositions in salts as a metal or a metal oxide and stabilize and try to be harmless by installing a process which processes incinerated ashes by melting and a process which decomposes electrically molten salt and a process which takes a metal oxide into a slag or metal phase. CONSTITUTION: During the starting time of a melting furnace 1, power is supplied between both upper and lower electrodes 12A and 12B by operating a power supply means 2. A substance to be dissolved, such as flying ash, which is charged into the molting furnace 1 is arranged to be molten. During this operation, the upper electrode 12A is lowered by operating an electrode lift means 3 and placed in contact with the lower electrode 12B or the like, thereby generating an arc where the dissolved substance X or the like is melted. When DC power is supplied in a constant current state where the upper electrode 12A is assumed to be positive electricity while the lower electrode 12B is assumed to be negative electricity, a constant ion current flows in the dissolved substance, thereby decomposing electrically the salts contained in the dissolved substance and forming separately a salt phase A, a slab phase B and a metal phase C based on a differential specific weight. The metal and the metal oxide are impregnated and absorbed into the slag phase B or the metal phase C.
