Abstract:
To provide a deflection yoke allowing vertical deflection and trilemma to be controlled easily, thus making it possible to obtain a good raster shape and convergence.
This yoke is provided with a correcting coil 20 equipped with both a core 22 having four legs 21A-21D above and below the top of the flange of a coil bobbin 1 and correcting wires 24AT, 24BT, 24CT, 24AB, 24BB, 24CB connected in series with a vertical deflection coil 3 and wound around the core 22 in such a way as to form quadrupole magnetic fields above and below. The upper correcting wires 24AT, 24BT, 24CT are connected in series with the lower correcting wires 24AB, 24BB, 24CB and vertical deflection currents are passed.
