Abstract:
PURPOSE: To automate the demolding of a washbowl composed of sanitary ceramic from a mold and the finish treatment thereof.
CONSTITUTION: When a container-shaped sanitary ceramic molded object 38 molded by the cast molding of slip is demolded from an opened mold 16, the suction pad 30 provided to the leading end of a robot arm 28 is applied to the rear surface of the bottom part of the molded object 38 to suck and hold the molded object 38 to detach the same from the mold 16. Thereafter, the molded object 38 is rotated and moved while held by the robot arm 28 to be subjected to predetermined finish treatment by a fixed finish device.
