Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an eaves edge drafting and fire preventing structure of high reliability which allows easy and low-cost execution of works, can certainly shut off the eaves edge draft part in the even of fire occurrence, and can prevent fire catch of the eaves edge structure caused by heat conduction.
CONSTITUTION: An eaves edge drafting and fire preventing structure concerned is embodied so that a drafting/fire preventing member 10 is attached to the periphery of a fascia board 2 at the eaves edge, wherein the member 10 consists of an upper member 20 and a lower member 30; the former 20 is fixed horizontally to the bottom of the fascia board 2 and has a draft opening 22 located behind the board 2 while the latter 30 is secured as opposing to the upper member 20 and has a draft opening 35 located ahead of the opening 22 and a heat foaming material 60 furnished behind the opening 35. A fire resistant substances 50 is furnished between the bottom surface of fascia board 2 and the upper member 20.
