Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental vacuum handpiece with a valve to control vacuum pressure, and to clean the valve and a grip easily by making the valve detached from the grip easily.
SOLUTION: When a tip 7 is joined to a grip 3 with a valve 4 attached to a hole 3b for attaching valve found on the grip 3, a tip of a stopper pin 5 is pressed into a hole 3c for holding stopper pin by the tip 7. A rear end of the stopper pin 5 is jut out of the side of the hole 3b for attaching valve, a rear end of the stopper pin 5 is joined to a joining groove 4b found on the valve 4, and the valve 4 is fixed to the grip 3 so that the valve would not be detached. A hole 3a for flow and penetrating hole 4a work together to control vacuum pressure by rotations of the valve 4. When the tip 7 is removed from the grip 3, the stopper pin 5 is pushed out by a spring 6 and is released from the joining groove 4b. As a result, the valve 4 can be detached from the grip 3.
