PURPOSE: To provide a laser heat transfer printer, in which the waste of ink or the like is eliminated and which is efficient and can contribute to resource- saving.
CONSTITUTION: The laser heat transfer printer concerned has a transferring drum 1, on which intermediate image is formed in advance before forming image on recording paper S, an ink jetting part 3, which forms the intermediate image on the transferring drum 1, a conveying means 25, which conveys the recording paper S to the position opposite to the intermediate image formed on the transferring drum 25, and a laser beam irradiation means 23, with which laser beam L is applied to the intermediate image in order to form image on the recording paper S conveyed with the conveying means 25.
