To provide a design thinking support method which supports a thinking forming process of design.

The design thinking support method is composed of a step of displaying requirements for an object, a step of dividing functions and constraint conditions from the requirements and displaying these, and a step of displaying the functions and the conditions in a display frame. The method is also composed of a step of closely or connectively displaying synonymous functions and the constraint conditions, a step of displaying the synonymous functions and the constraint conditions by expressing the functions and the conditions as simplified or standardized functions and constraint conditions, and a step of displaying the functions and the constraint conditions by connecting the functions and the conditions which affect each other, are opposed to each other, and are superior and inferior to each other. In addition, the method is also composed of a step of considering a mechanism which meets the functions and the constraint conditions based on a relational diagram between the functions and the conditions and displaying a considered mechanism in the display frame.
