To facilitate storage and carrying of a tool stand for a bar-like tool such as a toothbrush by constituting the tool stand so that it can be inserted and held in a general-purpose container.

The tool stand includes: a body 11, 12, 13 to be inserted and held in a container 21, 22 opened upwardly; and an upper lid 31, 32 provided on the body to cover the inside of the container. The upper lid includes a hole 31a, 32a extending therethrough from the inside of the container to the outside, and the bar-like tool such as the tooth brush is supported by being inserted to the hole. Since this detachable bar-like tool stand can be used as needed by being inserted into the general-purpose container, an exclusive container is dispensed with, and this tool is thus easy to store and carry with a minimized volume.
