To provide a detachment preventive device capable of preventing a sliding door from separating from a rail, and capable of attaching-detaching the sliding door to a rail by simple operation.
This detachment preventive device is composed of the sliding door B forming an installation space 6 installing a detachment preventive tool on the upper end, the rail A having a groove 2 of narrowing an opening part 1, and the detachment preventive tool C. The detachment preventive tool C is composed of a body 10, a substantially rectangular horizontal collar part 12 arranged in a body upper part, an engaging claw 13 arranged on a body bottom surface, an operation piece 14 for releasing engagement of the engaging claw, and a tongue piece 15 horizontally projected from the body. A width in the minor axis direction of the collar part 12 is formed in a large dimension insertable from below into the opening part 1 of the rail and having a width in the major axis direction larger than a width of the opening part 1 of the rail. The sliding door A is formed as a structure having a tongue piece inserting hole 7 opening on a vertical surface turning to the installing space 6, and having the engaging claw 13 engaging with an engaging object part 9 of the sliding door in a position for inserting the tongue piece 15 into the tongue piece inserting hole 7.
