Title:
DETECTING METHOD FOR LONG BURIED OBJECT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3392221
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a method for continuously detecting a long buried object along the laying direction such as a power cable.
CONSTITUTION: A reacting body C having a resonator C1 and an antenna C2 is buried in advance near a linear conductor B (long buried object), and the excitation signal of the reacting body C is transmitted from a processor A1 via an antenna A2. When the linear conductor B is buried directly below the antenna A2, the magnetic flux M1 generated on the antenna A2 by the excitation signal is linked with the antenna C2, the voltage induced on the antenna C2 is applied to the resonator C1, and the resonator C1 is resonated to emit the resonance signal. The resonance signal is received by the processor A1 via the same mechanism (linkage between magnetic fluxes M3, M4) as that for the excitation signal, and the buried location of the linear conductor B is detected. Since a detecting device A and the reacting body C are connected via the linear conductor B, the continuous detecting action along the linear conductor B can be made.
