Abstract:
PURPOSE: To precisely detect the residual amount of a battery even when a discharge current is changed largely.
CONSTITUTION: A correction factor is decided on the basis of an average discharge current from a battery within a prescribed time prior to the resent time. The prescribed time is set to a time or higher in which the discharge polarization of the battery becomes a steady state. A dischargeable capacity is decided in such a way that the full charge of the battery is multiplied by the correction factor, a consumed electric amount is subtracted from the dischargeable amount, and the residual amount of the battery is obtained.
