Abstract:

To provide a determination system for a pass schedule which determines the number of rolling passes, a plate thickness at the exit and a rolling speed per pass for a single stand rolling mill in order to make a rolling load distribution per pass accord with a target rolling load distribution, and automatically determines a compromising point for a product target in case all product targets are not satisfied even if the number of rolling passes is altered.

A plate thickness at the exit and a rolling speed per pass for a single stand rolling mill are determined so that the target rolling load distribution accords with the predicted rolling load distribution per pass based on the number of rolling passes, the target rolling load distribution per pass and rolling speed per pass which are in accordance with the information on a kind of raw material, plate thickness, plate width and temperature, etc., as well as the information on product targets such as plate thickness, plate width, temperature plate crown, etc., and also so that the predicted product temperature accords with the target product temperature, the predicted product crown accords with the target product crown and the predicted flatness accords with the target flatness.
