PURPOSE: To obtain a developing device capable of using the toner of a low softening point and glass transition point by making stress imparted to the toner less.
CONSTITUTION: The developing device 1700 is composed of a developing sleeve 1702 including an elastic roller 1004 inside and supplying nonmagnetic toner T to a photosensitive drum 1750. first/second roller guides 1706a and 1706b for covering the outer periphery of the developing sleeve 1702, a toner housing 1708 housing the toner T consumed to develop an electrostatic latent image formed on the photosensitive drum 1750, etc. The toner T can be surely electrified without the application of undesired pressure by the developing device 1700. Therefore, a device is miniaturized and moreover, the toner of the low softening point and glass transition point can be used to surely develop a medium color.
