Abstract:
To provide a developing device that can sufficiently remove a developer attached to the periphery of a supply port.SOLUTION: A developing device is provided with: a toner receiving port 36 that receives supply of toner from a toner cartridge 12 detachably disposed in a drum unit body part; toner supply port cleaning means 31 that is provided movably to the drum unit body part, and includes a toner supply port cleaning part 52 brought into contact with the toner cartridge 12 when the toner cartridge 12 is detached from the drum unit body part; and a cleaning urging member that urges the toner supply port cleaning means 31 toward the toner cartridge 12. When the toner cartridge 12 is detached from the drum unit body part, the toner supply port cleaning means 31 is moved by an urging force of the cleaning urging member, and maintains the contact of the toner supply port cleaning part 52 with the toner cartridge 12 within a predetermined moving range of the toner cartridge 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
