In this rotary development apparatus for holding a plurality of developing units by a rotary rack and moving the objective developing unit up to a developing position by rotating the rotary rack, a first slope member 318 is arranged in a toner storing chamber 311 in each developing unit. Consequently, the toner existent in a partial manner on the upstream side for the direction for making toner flow of an opening part 314 for supplying toner as the rotary rack rotates is guided onto a slope face of the first slope member 318 and is supplied into a developing chamber 312 with ease.
