Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically decide a setting kiln temp. under consideration of the longitudinal direction of a slab.
SOLUTION: As a temp. control system in at least a heating zone in a tunnel kiln, a point positional arithmetic means 17 for obtaining a temp. calculating point positional signal of the slab by using a trucking signal at the tip part position of the slab and the predecided temp. calculating point, a residual furnace existing time arithmetic device 18 for operating the residual furnace existing time to the slab existing in the furnace from the velocity of a continuous casting, a necessary furnace temp. arithmetic device 21 for obtaining the necessary furnace temp. to heat up the slab to a target ejecting temp. by using the residual furnace existing time, a charging temp. of the temp. calculating point into a tunnel furnace and the target ejecting temp. and a furnace temp. setting device 25 for setting the target furnace temp. by using the highest necessary furnace temp. in the necessary furnace temp. to each temp. calculating point therein as the target ejecting temp. of the slab to execute the temp. control at least in the heating zone.
