Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for controlling the operation of a motor, which can stabilize the motor accurately and stably by compensating the change of the phase resistance value of the motor caused by the temperature rise within the motor at drive of the motor, and its method.
SOLUTION: The device for controlling the operation of the motor is equipped with a rotation block detector 18 which computes the operation frequency of a motor 15 based on the phase voltage value applied to the motor 15 and the phase current value, detects the operation block of the motor according to this computed operation frequency, and outputs a block detection signal; a computer 19 which computes the phase resistance value according to the above block detection signal; a velocity/position calculation 17 which detects the position of the rotor of the motor 15 by this computed phase resistance value, and computes the velocity; and a voltage command generator 13 which generates a voltage command for applying voltage to the motor 15.
