Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form grooves with a uniform depth formed on an inner diameter face of sleeves composing a fluid bearing. SOLUTION: Because a rotary driving part 1 attached with a machining tool 5 is supported with a linear driving part 2 through a free moving supporting part providing a link mechanism having two rotary shafts parallel to the rotary shaft of the machining tool 5, the machining tool 5 is made freely movable in the X-Y plane. When this machining tool 5 is inserted inside a sleeve 10 fixed at a prescribed position with an object to be machined fixing part 6 by controlling the rotation and the movement in the Z axial direction, a groove shape forming tip 5a installed on the opposite side face of the machining tool 5 is automatically made to align depending on the load to the inner diameter face of the sleeve 10, the central axis of the sleeve 10 and the central axis of the machining tool 5 are aligned, and the groove with the uniform depth is formed with the groove machining tip 5a.
