Title:
RING TYPE CATCH LATCH DEVICE FOR CHAIN END
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3827401
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily latch a chain by applying the constitution that a ring type catch is inserted in a laterally long hole having both ends bulged and after turned around the lower peripheries of the bulged parts due to a chain dead load is latched with a chain lock hook provided on the internal surface of a hollow pole along the upper periphery of the laterally long hole.
SOLUTION: The upper part of a hollow pole 1 is formed to have a laterally long hole 3 having bulged parts 31 and 31 orthogonal with the center axis of the pole 1 and further having both ends bulged upward, and a ring type catch 21 fitted to the forward end of a chain 2 is inserted in or pulled out from the hole 3. Also, the intermediate part 32 of the hole 3 on the internal surface of the hollow pole 1 is provided with a chain lock hook made of a suspension piece having a curved part 42 at the lower end. In this case, the ring type catch 21 fitted to the forward end of the chain 2, when inserted in the hole 3 and released, turns around the lower peripheries of the bulged parts 31 and 31 of the hole 3, due to the dead load of the chain 2, and the forward end thereof is caught by the curved part 42 of the chain lock hook. As a result, the chain 2 can be easily latched.
