Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically, successively and repeatedly perform a series of processes for forming a pleat set to the formation of the last pleat set and to provide a curtain with an excellent appearance.
SOLUTION: In this device for forming the pleat set to the curtain composed of a pleat set formation device 1 for folding the top part of a curtain cloth, forming the pleat set and supplying it to a sewing machine M, the sewing machine M for sewing and fixing the supplied pleat set and a curtain cloth supplier 2 for successively supplying the curtain cloth to the pleat set formation device matched with the pleat set operation and supply operation of the pleat set formation device 1, the curtain cloth supplier 2 is provided with a mounting means 21 for mounting and sliding the curtain cloth and a pair of rollers 22 and 23 for clamping and carrying the curtain cloth and the curtain cloth supplier 2 is constituted so as to be brought closer to and separated from the side of the pleat set formation device 1.
