Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a method and a device for manufacturing multilayer brush, in which after-treatment such as cutting is eliminated and which can eliminate the waste of material to manufacture a brush at a low cost without changing a conventional process large.
CONSTITUTION: A molding dies 10, horizontal punches 12, 14, a lower punch 16 and an upper slide plate 18 form a molding space 40 (40a, 40b). A raw material powder partitioning plate 20 is arranged in the inclining direction in this molding space 40. Two kinds of raw material powder thrown by feeders 30, 32 is extruded in the horizontal direction by the horizontal punches 12, 14 to fill the molding spaces 40a, 40b with each raw material powder. Thereafter, the raw material powder partitioning plate 20 is drawn, and pushed by at least one of the punches 12, 14, 16 to pressurize two kinds of raw material powder for fitting, and a two-layer brush is thereby manufactured.
