Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for detecting and monitoring the weight of an assembled counterweight on a crane.SOLUTION: The device includes: a turntable steelwork construction 1 comprising a counterweight cylinder 2; a sensor which is arranged in the region of a connection between the counterweight cylinder 2 and the turntable steelwork construction 1; and a computational unit 8, where the sensor is connected to the computational unit 8, and the computational unit 8 comprises a logic which determines the weight of a counterweight connected to the turntable steelwork construction 1 from data captured by the sensor and transmitted to the computational unit 8.
