Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make the user recognize the displaying of held value by providing a switching means, which switches the state for displaying the measured values changing from time to time with an ordinary screen on a display area and the state for displaying the held value with an inverted screen or a blinking screen, and providing a means, which automatically releases the holding after the elapse of a specified time.
CONSTITUTION: The measured value (instantaneous value), which is changing from time to time, is displayed on a liquid crystal display part 3 with an ordinary screen 14. When the user operates a holding switch 5, the screen 14 is switched to a held picture plane 15. During the holding of the measured value after the switching, the held value of the measured value is displayed with the inverted picture plane 15. When the user operates the switch 5 again for releasing the holding after the specified time from the starting of the holding, the holding is released, and the display part 3 returns to the state, wherein the measured value changing from time to time is displayed with the screen 14. Meanwhile, when the specified time has elapsed after the start of the held-value display, the holding is automatically released with a timer circuit 6. The display part 3 returns to the state, wherein the measured value changing from time to time displayed on the screen 14, again.
