Title:
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ELECTRICAL SPRAYING IMPOSED ON TIME MODULATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3447727
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that modulates the conversion of a liquid sample into such an electrically sprayed form that enables a mass spectrometer to analyze the sample.
SOLUTION: The device which converts a solution containing a solute sample used for analyzing the sample into ionized molecules is provided with a passage through which the solution is passed and has an outlet for discharging the solution from the passage in the form of electrical spray and a means which temporally modulates the formation of the electrical spray by generating an electric field imposed on time modulation near the outlet of the passage.
