Title:
CHIP RESISTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3447728
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a chip resistor that can effectively prevent the occurrence of crazes in a glass coat.
SOLUTION: This chip resistor is constituted in such a way that a pair of electrodes 4 and 4 having multilayered structures is formed at both ends of the surface of an insulating ceramic substrate 2. A resistance element 3 is formed by printing the element 3 on the surface of the substrate 2 so that the element 3 connected to the electrodes 4 and 4. The glass coat 11 on, which a trimming groove is formed, is formed on the resistance element 3. In addition, a resin coat is formed on the glass coat 11. Among first to third electrodes constituting each multilayered electrode 4 formed on each end face of the substrate 2, the third electrode is formed of Ag-resin-based conductive paint.
