This device has an information processing function for manufacturing a component and is equipped with a database which stores work information regarding a component manufactured by the device in the past. Previous work information on components which have been manufactured before includes previous design data relating to features of the components manufactured before as well. Further, a system may be installed which receives current information regarding a current component manufactured by the device at a current work request. The current work information includes proposed design data regarding proposed features of the current component as well.
