Abstract:

PURPOSE: To extend the service life of a die and also to improve the quality of a casting.

CONSTITUTION: An injection plunger 6 and a pouring pool part 12 are arranged so that the projecting plane of the pouring pool part 12 in the shifting shaft 6a direction of the injection plunger 6 does not overlap with a cavity 10. Further, a parting surface 23 is arranged between the acting position of the pressing force of the injection plunger 6 in an upper die 22 and the cavity 10. The development of bending stress in the die caused by the pressing force and the die clamping force with each plunger 6, 25, 27 is prevented, and as a result, the developing of crack is restrained.
