To provide a screen printing device which can improve conversion efficiency by increasing the film thickness and, forming a circuit pattern with a large aspect ratio of the sectional shape, as well as a screen printing method.
The screen printing device 10 includes: a support base 12 for supporting a base material 11, a metal mask including a covering part for covering a part of the surface of the base material 11, a plurality of openings through which a part of the base material 11 is exposed, a crosslinking part arranged in a direction crossing over the longitudinal direction of the circuit pattern between each opening, all these being required for forming the strip-like circuit pattern on the base material 11; and a cartridge type squeegee head 13 which supplies a paste for circuit pattern to the surface of the metal mask 1 under predetermined pressure while sliding a squeegee 14 of predetermined length into contact with the upper surface of the metal mask 1. The screen printing method is also provided.
