To make it simple to set a design object on which a designed body is based and set processing programs which are started when respective processes are performed by symbolizing and displaying the respective processes, deciding the state of some of those processes, and making a discriminating display according to the decided state.
The processes are symbolized and displayed and a block of a process 1 is indicated with an input device such as a mouse to select the block of the process 1, and the process 1 in the selected executable state is executed. When this process 1 in the executable state is executed, the states of a process 21 and a process 22 are decided and when those processes 21 and 22 can not be executed, executable conditions of the process 1 are changed into four states. Those states are displayed discriminatingly so that the parts of the processes 1, 21, and 22 in an area 902 on a main panel are an area 1001.
