To provide a device for recognizing physical and emotional conditions which can easily be put on and removed from the body of a user and can recognize the physical and emotional conditions of the user by easily detecting bio-signals, and to provide a method for recognizing physical and emotional conditions.
The device for recognizing physical and emotional conditions is provided with a bio-signal detecting section which is put on a prescribed portion of the body of the user and outputs at least one or more of bio-signals detected from the body by performing analog-signal processing on the bio-signals and a bio-signal recognizing section which performs digital-signal processing on the bio-signals from the bio-signal processing section, recognizes the physical and emotional conditions of the user from the processed results, and expresses the recognized results. Consequently, the device can easily be put on the prescribed portion without being hindered by the motion of the user, can easily detect the bio-signals transmitted by radio or through a wire, and can provide the user of its physical and emotional conditions recognized by using the detected bio-signals. In addition, the device can recognize the abruptly changing emotional condition or another emotional condition of the user which remains for a long time after a change in real time.
