To provide a device for preventing an infusion stand from being caught, having a simple structure and excellent operability, economically manufacturable and allowing a patient receiving infusion to be safely and reliably moved; and the infusion stand using the same.

The device is used in a sickroom with beds partitioned by a curtain 11 whose top is meshed. The device is attached to the infusion stand 12 having bag hooking parts 15 and 16 with hanging hooks 14 at the distal ends for hanging infusion bags to prevent the hanging hooks 14 of the infusion stand 12 from being caught in the upper meshed part 13 of the curtain 11. The device has mesh abutting parts 24 attached to the bag hooking parts 15 and 16, width of which is larger than the inner size L of a mesh of the meshed part 13.
