To wind fibers with a high precision and prevent deformation due to heat by attaching a beam having a working edge at a head end of a fiber supply spool of a fiber supply device and leading the fibers to a predetermined position on a surface of a take-up drum.
Reinforcing fibers are sent out by a fiber supply spool 11 and guided to a take-up drum by a beam 12 so as to be taken up on a cylindrical drum 13. A working edge 14 is attached to the head end of the beam 12. Sending of the fibers is performed by moving the fiber supply spool 11 and the beam 12 at a fixed speed. At this time, intervals between fibers are controlled to be regular. That is, by controlling the position of the beam 12 with the working edge 14 at the head end of the beam 12, the fibers are forcibly slid up to a predetermined position. Thus, a position at a final stage where the fibers are to be fixed to the cylindrical drum 13 is adjusted.
