Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carry/separation device which can separate and carry paper sheet bundles one by one surely and easily, even when thickness of paper sheet bundles are different from each other.
SOLUTION: This carry/separation device 5 is provided with a first carrying belt 26 extending along a substantially vertical carrying passage, and a pushing out means 14 nearly horizontally pushing out a stacked body B made by stacked paper sheet bundles C bundled with fastening belts 9 in the direction of thickness of the paper sheet bundle C, and bringing the paper sheet bundles C of the stacked body B in order one by one in contact with the carrying face of the first carrying belt 26. It is also provided with a claw part 28 which is provided on the carrying face of the first carrying belt 26, and separates only one paper sheet bundle pushed against the carrying face by the pushing out means 14 from the other paper sheet bundles by contacting with it from the lower side and substantially vertically lifting this paper sheet bundle C, and a second carrying belt 27 extending nearly in parallel with the first carrying belt 26, and carrying the paper sheet bundle C lifted by the claw part 28 upward in the substantially vertical direction cooperated with the first carrying belt 26 while pinchedly holding it with the first carrying belt 26.
