Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a high sensitivity diagnostic reagent by employing a polymer latex exhibiting affinity to a target substance.
CONSTITUTION: In the general formula (chemical structural formula) of polymer latex exhibiting affinity to a target substance, R1 to R8 may be identical or not identical to each other and each represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a vinyl group or a C1-8 alkyl (meta)acryloyl group, and R9 represents a lower alkyl group, a vinyl group or a C1-8 alkyl (meta)acryloyl group. A substance exhibiting affinity to a target substance is carried by a polymer latex comprising an independent polymer or a copolymer composed of 10 to 100wt.% of a compound represented by the general formula and O to 90wt.% of a vinyl compound which can be copolymerized with the compound represented by the general formula.
