Abstract:

To provide a new polymer micelle capable of coordinating a metal ion useful as a contrasting agent or a treating agent and having high stability in blood compared with conventional polymer micelles.

The polymer micelle is formed by self aggregation of a block copolymer containing a hydrophilic polymer chain segment and a segment having a plurality of side chains containing a chelating agent, wherein chelating agent residues having a tertiary amino group and a carboxy group are bonded directly or through a linker structure to at least 60% of the multiple side chains.
