To provide a dialysis unit and a method for measuring an access recirculation rate capable of detecting the presence or absence of access recirculation without being affected by the measurement environment, and also capable of measuring the occurrence of the access recirculation.
A dialysis unit 100 includes: a hemodialyzer 30 having a blood inlet BF1, a blood outlet BF2, a dialysis fluid inlet DF1, and a dialysis fluid outlet DF2; an upstream blood line BC1 connected to the blood inlet BF1; a downstream blood line BC2 connected to the blood outlet BF2; an upstream dialysis fluid line DC1 connected to the dialysis fluid inlet DF1; a downstream dialysis fluid line DC2 connected to the dialysis fluid outlet DF2; and an electric conductivity measuring device 50 provided to the downstream dialysis fluid line DC2 for measuring electric conductivity of the dialysis fluid passing through the downstream dialysis fluid line DC2. The dialysis unit 100 further includes a first port provided to the downstream blood line BC2 for introducing a solution whose sodium chloride concentration is higher than the blood to the downstream blood line BC2.
